Happy April Fool’s Day everyone! Hope you had a great weekend.

I was recently contacted by Donna Morgan to review their “24/7” dresses.  I immediately thought of “bridal”.  Wait a minute…I won’t be in any weddings anytime soon so it would be impossible to wear their dresses to do any reviews.  Yes, I’m sure most of you probably know that Donna Morgan is known for their bridal party dresses. They are sold in major department stores like Nordstrom and Macy’s.  I wore a Donna Morgan dress when I was a bridesmaid a few years ago and all the bridesmaids looked lovely!polka dots

So when Donna Morgan contacted me about their “24/7” campaign, I had to check it out!  I learned that this collection provides styles that can easily transition from day to night, which allows a woman to put forth her signature look wherever she goes.polka dots

When I received their dresses (yes, stay tuned for more 🙂 ) I was floored.  They were more beautiful and chic than expected, especially the polka dots dress.  It embodies sparkles with personality, and is the perfect dress for the spring season with its black and white polka dots.  The material is thick so this is the perfect dress to hide that tummy (read the post here on losing that mommy tummy!).  It basically fits your body in all the right places.https://www.amazon.com/donnamorgan

I wore this polka dots dress to a business conference and then a cocktail dinner after. I paired it with a black blazer, opaque tights, and black pumps. This dress was so comfortable and chic that I felt really confident in it.

A few days later I wore this dress again to meet up with my girlfriends for brunch.  This time I discarded the blazer (it was quite warm!) but added a pink skinny belt and finished the look with a white clutch.polka dots

All I can say is that I was constantly stopped by women on the street, at the conference, and the restaurant to ask where I got this dress from. This is surely one of the closet staples that will be a keeper for a long time!

P.S. I had the dress shortened a couple inches due to my petite stature.

Thank you, Nikki. Yes, it does have the tulip skirt look. I love it 🙂

  3. This dress is adorable! I love how you made the neutral polka dot dress even more fun with that bright belt. I’ll definitely have to check out Donna Morgan’s dresses. I’ve never heard of them before.

  4. Love that dress. I have a problem with over polka-dotting already though. They are so much fun!

  5. That dress is gorgeous, and I love what you say about it having a thicker fabric. Thin fabric on dresses is often way too clingy to be flattering!
