Happy Monday everyone!  Hope you had a great weekend.

There’s something magical about the turquoise color.  I was told that this color can recharge our spirits during times of mental stress and tiredness, alleviating feelings of loneliness.  Maybe that’s why I feel an instant calm whenever I focus on the color turquoise.  This color is also known as a healing color, particularly when it comes to gemstones.  This turquoise maxi dress that I had purchased from Hautelook last year took me back to my vacation on the Mediterranean Sea six years ago where I first met my husband.

When Rafia Jewelry sent me this necklace  I knew it would go perfectly with this dress for a family brunch.  I recently learned about Rafia Jewlery.  The entire collection is timeless, feminine, and delicate.  The jewelry is hand made in Los Angeles using semi-precious and preceiuos stones with sterling silver, 14k gold filled and some base metal.  The customer can specify which metal they prefer at time of the order.  Some of my favorite pieces are this and this and this.

Thank you so much for visiting and have a fabulous day!

  5. You are such a petite flower, Janice … just so pretty in your turquoise, and the jewelry is a subtle surprise. Delicate jewelry can often draw people in, toward you, so they can see it better. That’s power best used with knowledge! And you do it so well.
