Fall is my favorite season and it is almost over! Thanksgiving is just days away and Christmas is around the corner. To me, fall is the most wonderful time of the year because it sure beats the heat of summer, the ice cold of winter, and the rain of spring ( I LOVE the rain so spring is my second favorite 🙂 ). I love to see the colors of the autumn leaves and trees, and watch them drop down. I also love to open the windows and let in that crisp autumn air. The cool air seems to have a majestic feel to it. But what I love most about Fall is that I get to see a decrease in the electric and heating bills. That means save save save for the holidays!
On this family night out, I had to layer my clothes to keep the cold away from me. Not only did I have a wool jacket underneath the faux fur gilet but also a camisole and a cashmere sweater. The night was bone chilling cold. It looks like my favorite season is on its way out and the dreadful Winter is humming its way in. Are you ready for Winter?

Our winters bring lots of rain. I can’t complain. It’s Southern California. I remember the bone chilling cold days growing up in Michigan though. Brrr!
