Happy Monday everyone!  Hope you had a great weekend.

Shift-1

I bought this shift dress a little over a year ago with the intention of wearing it to my friend’s bridal shower.    Unfortunately, her wedding did not happen so this dress has been staying dormant in my closet until a couple weeks ago.  I was invited to my former colleague’s baby shower and thought this dress would be appropriate for the occasion.  This dress is made of wool and acrylic so it kept me warm the entire day while offered comfort.

I simply love shift dresses.  They are classy, simple, versatile, and never go out of style.  This is one of those dresses that I can just grab in my closet for almost any venue.  If I want to wear this to work, I simply add a blazer.  If I want to wear this to a cocktail party, I just need to layer some jewelry and complement it with a colored pumps.  For $24.95 I think this dress is worth the investment because it is a keeper and I know I will be putting more miles on it.

  1. The post may be about the dress but I cannot get past that gorgeous coat. I am a coat fanatic at the moment and that is pretty spectacular, great colour.

  2. I have those Tribtoos also, and they’re just divine. I ended up selling some Louboutins because they were uncomfy and I never wore them and got the Tribtoos instead as my basic black heel – that was a great decision. They look great on you, along with the rest of the ensemble. The coat is gorgeous!

  3. For $25 this dress is SO A KEEPER! And that coat at $21 is like unheard of. Hmmm, I think the next giveaway you should offer your readers is taking them shopping to teach us all how to spend less than 50 bucks but look like we’re in designer digs.
