So far you have seen 2 looks (this and this ) that I have created with a basic black turtleneck . I can’t stress enough how versatile this top is. It is definitely a closet staple. One of my favorite pairings is to wear the turtleneck underneath a dress or a jumpsuit. For a night out with the family, I layered a blue floral jacquard short jumpsuit over the black turtleneck and tights. I was in the mood for calmness and relaxation so I chose the color blue as the accent color for this outfit.
Cost: Wool peacoat ($34), jumpsuit ($28), belt ($19), tights ($5), booties ($48), necklace ($12). All of these items are at least 1 year old and were purchased on sale online or at the outlet store.
I hope this post inspires you to get fun with your existing clothes in your closet and get excited again!
