Happy Beauty Buzz Link Up day everyone!

I’m beginning to love this series more and more.  This week I’d like to share my beachy waves’ secret weapon with you,  Not Your Mother’s Beach BABE Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.BeachBabe-1

 The Claim:

Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray adds sexy, tousled waves and a light matte finish to any hair type.  Infused with natural dead sea salt and sea kelp this salon formula has you and your hair on the boardwalk all year long.

Mama’s Take:

It’s the best hair product that I have ever used in terms of quality and price.  I actually bought this product out of desperation a year ago when we were traveling and I forgot to pack my go-to sea salt texturizing spray, Davines No. 14 Sea Salt Primer.  I went to the the drug store to look for sea salt sprays but couldn’t find any. The only one that was readily available at the time was Not Your Mother’s Beach BABE Texturizing Sea Salt Spray.   It was awesome!  For $5.95 for an 8 fl. oz bottle it performed better than expected.

This product has a very pleasant coconut scent and it is easy to spray with a slightly pointed nozzle.  I also love the fact that you can lock the nozzle so its great to travel with.  When this spray is used lightly it gives great volume and texture without looking like you haven’t combed your hair for days.  My hair is naturally straight, fine, and never holds a curl so for my hair to be wavy with some  help from a hot curling iron all day is amazing.  This bottle has been my hair styling tool staple ever since!!!

I usually am wary of any spray..the water here is so hard that i loose a lot of hair..so i stay away..some day though i would have to brave up and try this out..Thanks for reviewing it with honest opinions..

  2. Interesting…have you tried any of their other products? I don’t need any extra texture, but I love the idea of the coconut scent. BTW…loved the pictures in the previous post…they looked beautiful 🙂

Thank you Merrie. I’m currently trying their thickening hair lift and will write up a review about that soon!

Awesome! I have yet to try their dry shampoo. I tried the tresemme when it first came out and my hair did not respond well to that. I’m currently trying their thickening hair lift and will share the review with you 🙂
