I hope you are enjoying this series so far.  It’s been really fun for me to put these outfits together on a weekly basis.  So far you have seen how a basic black turtleneck being styled and restyled on these looks here, here, and here.  This week, I’d like to share how you can take this black turtleneck and add an edge to it by pairing with black tights, over the knee boots, and  a coat to maintain the illusion of a slim silhouette. You can also change the look of this outfit simply by replacing the coat with another color or print.  That black turtleneck is quite powerful if you must say!

I hope this post inspires you to get fun with your existing clothes in your closet and get excited again!

  7. Beautiful look, inspiring project. This is our slow business time of year, so if I don’t get my winter purchases out of the way in fall, I’m stuck. Winter, then is appropriate for my main remix time of the year. Lots of that going on here!
Have a great week, Lovely Janise!

I love your use of accessories! I don’t come across many fashion bloggers who do. Thanks for showing us that wearing statement pieces and color need not be scary! Keep it up!! XO, The Jewelry Lady
