…A White Tunic
Welcome to the Remix/Restyle series for the month of May. Each month, I choose an item from my closet and show how you can wear it in a new way every week. This month’s feature is Instyle Essentials’ Weekend Tunic. I love the fit of this tunic and the way it feels. I styled this tunic with a trumpet skirt the first week of May. I then paired this tunic with a blazer and leather pants for an office-appropriate look the week after. On the third week , I went casual by pairing it with denim shorts. Last week, I went office appropriate again by pairing it with a lace skirt.
At first, I was a bit apprehensive in featuring this shirt on the Remix & Restyle series because I wasn’t sure if I could transform this shirt in more than 2 looks. I was completely wrong because as you can see the versatility of this shirt is endless. This week I paired this shirt with a chiffon pleated midi skirt, which is right on trend. A few nights ago, I wore this outfit to WorldMarket for a family shopping event. The tunic definitely kept me crisp and cool during that hot/humid night!
