Wow, July just flew right by!  Did you score any goodies from Nordstrom’s Anniversay sale over the weekend?  It’s been so muggy and hot last week, especially over the weekend that I decided to head over to Nordstrom to pay a little visit.  My intention was to just walk into the store and try on these because I’ve been eyeing them since the beginning of the sale. I was really convinced that I would buy them but to my surprise I ended up with these and these (nude color instead).  I also hopped over to the Gap to try on this but I walked out with this and few other clearance pieces.  They were additional 50% off so the trip was well worth it even though I was shopping for over 2 hours!  I can’t wait to share these pieces with you in the coming weeks.

Keeping cool in the summer heat requires dressing in minimal and hassle-free outfits.  This shirt dress is one of them.  It is also my typical shopping uniform…easy on and easy off.  It certainly kept me cool and calm during those overwhelming shopping hours.  This dress is now my run-around-all-day look to keep me comfortable and stylish.

    I’m so glad you mentioned the lip color you used in this outfit because it stood out to me immediately! I love the luxe look of the color and the shiny texture. I haven’t tried YSL lipstick but I’ve seen it on bloggers and it might have to be my next beauty splurge. (And of course, your outfit is lovely as always!)

      Thank you Gina! YSL’s lipsticks are highly pigmented but so creamy…LOVE it! With that said, I use a lipbrush to brush the stain on my lips instead of applying the full tube straight on my lips. Hope this helps.
