Back to School Sale

Back to School shopping can be fun but also unnerving. Fun for kids because mommy is buying new clothes! Unnerving for moms because we have to spend money…a lot at once if we have more than 1 kid.  My twin boys are only a little over 3 and they will not attend preschool until next year but I cringe whenever I think about having to buy them clothes every time.  They are growing every second and we need to buy them clothes just about every few months and that can easily put a dent in our wallet very fast!  That’s why I’m so excited to discover sites like Schoola where they sell name-brand, almost-new clothing for all the kids at great prices.  On top of that they are giving back to the community by donating a percentage to which-ever school you choose to help.

Since my kids are not going to school yet I chose to help KIPP Academy to reach their goal of getting $25,000 to fund a music program.  Like I mentioned here previously, academic achievements are just as important as creative achievements.  I’m bummed that I just missed giving the boys old clothes to Schoola.  I compiled a couple big bags a few weeks ago and gave them away.  Luckily, there’s another way to give back through Schoola.  I can shop on their site and they will donate a percentage to my chosen school, KIPP Academy.

As a matter of fact, to get ready for fall I purchased some sweaters and superhero t-shirts from them yesterday.  I bought 9 items for $50, that’s $5.50 for each item…what a steal!  Do you want to save too?   Well, you can!  Starting now and until August 20, 2014, Schoola is extending a 20% discount (code is BacktoSchoola20) for Mama in Heels readers to shop, which will help raise money for your school of choice.  I hope you will score the same if not better deals than me!  Happy shopping and have a fabulous and safe weekend!!!
