Happy Monday everyone!

Fall is in full swing!  I’ve worn my new sweaters, sipped and savored some warm drinks while doing so.  I’ve also worn my new coat from Joules.  Have you heard of Joules?  They are one of the best-loved Britain clothing brands for families who enjoy getting out and about in style and living life to the full.  For three decades Joules have been devoted to crafting the highest quality clothing designed to capture the true essence of British style.  They are committed to quality and make sure all of their clothing is built to last season after season.  Now, that’s my kind of language!

I’ve been shopping for a coat that is light and travel friendly but can also keep me warm and stylish in the artic land.  Our last family trip to Toronto taught me a good lesson about coat wear.  My mother-in-law was right, the coat I wore during that trip and trips before then was appropriate for the California winter weather but not for the Canadian harsh winter.  The ice storm added fuel to the fire even though I was covered in 4 layers of clothing.

I wasn’t sure if this quilted coat from Joules would fit the bill when I saw it on their website.  I took a chance and selected this coat anyway because I thought the design looked elegant and effortless.  When it arrived it exceeded my expectation.  The coat was surprisingly light, which will make a perfect travel coat.  When I felt how light it was I didn’t know if it would be warm enough.  It was!  So glad I chose this coat!!!  We are visiting Toronto again in a couple months and I can’t wait to bring my coat of armor with me to fight the freezing land, ice storm or not!

Thank you Ashley! I love my bag but mostly my boots. I had my cobbler laced the back because the front kept flapping over!

  3. You never fail to impress and provide someone pretty to look at! Killer coat … and I’m into my coats these days. Excellent with that very subtle patterned scarf … serious boots and all. So happy you had time to show us!

  4. Being British I have heard of Joules but never actually bought anything from there. I love your jacket, so classic and stylish. Love the OTK boots as well.
Thanks for tweeting me the other day, I keep meaning to reply to you. Tbh I haven’t got to grips with tweeting! I’m not sure why you couldn’t leave a message on the blog. It’s so strange because there were a couple of other bloggers that couldn’t leave a message either although there were some that could. I can’t explain it but I hope you will try again and let me know if you have any problems.

Thank you for stopping by, Lorna! Technicality like that happens sometimes.
