Happy Monday everyone!
G & I went to see Interstellar last week. It’s a must see movie by the way if you are into Astrophysics. After seeing this movie it got me thinking about life…our lives on this planet. The fact is life is short in relation to time and history. However, it is also extraordinary long and full. What I’m trying to say is that life is constantly checking in to see if we learned the lessons we were given and to appreciate the simple, everyday moments. Yes, it can be hard to enjoy the now when we seek for a better future all the while juggling through a million things.
Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a full-time working mom, single mom or soon to be mom, why not take some time and just treat yourself this holiday. Go on a date with yourself and enjoy your time without any interruptions or stress. Even for half an hour or so will rejuvenate you. I had the pleasure of doing this over the weekend. I dropped off the kids at my parents house, stopped by Starbucks for Chi Latte (this is the only drink I order from Starbucks!) and then went window shopping. I even had my nails done, which I visit maybe twice a year the most. It felt really good and I did all that while wearing my latest jewelry find, 10k Rose Gold Filigree Chandelier earrings from JTV.
