Welcome to week 3 of my Spring 2015 Capsule Collection where I mix and match these pieces with my existing wardrobe and unveil one outfit each week for the next few months. This is outfit number 3. I’m mixing the striped dress from Old Navy ($24 w/ discount) and the crocodile leather handbag from Merci Marie ($139) with my trench coat (also from Old Navy) and nude pumps. A pair of dark sunnies finished the look.
I bought the handbag a while ago but have not featured it ’till now. The color and the structure of the design caught my eye, but the price sealed the deal. As for the dress, I’ve always wanted a casual dress that is not only easy to put on and take off but also not afraid of it getting dirty. This dress from Old Navy fits the bill and the price was ridiculously affordable (after the discount!). Although the dress is not made of the best quality but it’s good enough to run around in and comfortable enough to do anything. I can see myself wearing this dress again with flip flops or ballet flats come summer.
