Twins’outfits c/o Fabkids

We all know that from birth to 12 months daddy takes a backseat to mommy during this phase so that the child can develop a strong, secure, healthy attachment to mommy.  Of course, a father’s role is as important as a mother’s.  G has been very close and hands-on with the twins since birth from diaper changing, feeding, bathing to teaching them ABC’s before they could crawl.  I’m fortunate to have such a loving, supportive and involved partner whom I can depend on caring for the twins if I had to leave a few days for business trips or out with my girlfriends.

For the past couple years, the boys have become closer to their dad.  I should say they are not as clingy to me whenever their dad is around.  They are at an age where they just want to play and play.  One of their favorite games is to play Spiderman, and only with their dad and no one else.  It looks simple but requires a lot of strength and endurance, which I physically lack.  G would swing them from one place to the next where they can land their feet on the ground and strike the Spiderman signature pose.  They play this game at least once a day (sometimes 2 or more!) indoors and out.  They even did this a few days ago when we were walking to a coffee shop.

It’s a heavy heart to see my sons slowly transition from the babies I once held in my arms to walking, talking, communicating little boys with guidance from their dad.  Although I’m taking a backseat as mommy, they will always be my babies while transforming from toddlers to manhood right in front of my eyes.

Thank you, Angie! You son will love it! I can only do 1 full spin/per kid (3 max a day) and that’s it! My husband does this all the time and I thought it would be great to share that with you and everyone else. Affordable & fun!
