Wecome to week 12 of my Spring Capsule Collection Outfit Remix series. This week I’m mixing the flowy boxy blouse and the calf leather clutch from the collection with my vintage Lovestory denim (10+ yrs old ) and platform suede pumps. Although I love my skinnies but I don’t mind wearing the flared denim once in a while, especially when this trend is so-on trend for spring. Not only do they elongate your legs but they are easy to put on and take off…a big plus for this busy mama. I love the wool combined with viscose texture of this blouse. The round neck with frayed edges, wide long sleeves and keyhole detail at back balance the bell bottoms of the flared denim. This blouse is a great staple for adding modernity to everyday outfits. I can pair this blouse with a floral pencil skirt for a softer look or tuck into a midi skirt for that ladylike look.
It’s already been 12 weeks into remixing the collection, but there are a couple more pieces I have yet to debut. This proves that you only need a few key pieces for each season where you can mix with your existing wardrobe to save money while looking stylish and up to date. My goal is to remix the entire collection not only for spring but hopefully well into summer.
