Happy Monday everyone!  Hope your weekend was treating you well.

I took a mini vacation with hubby to Vegas over the weekend.  We spent a lot of time eating, talking and hand holding.  Overall, I had a great time even though it was really short.

This week’s OOTW is inspired by this fall’s jewel tones.  It’s pretty clear that fall is my favorite season of the year.  I know we are only a little over a month away but I can’t help but started organizing and cleaning my closet.  I gave some clothes to my sisters, donated a couple bags of clothing and shoes to Out of the Closet.  I also sent a bag of clothes (most with NWT tags attached) to ThredUp for resale.

During the cleanup and organization I found this floral silk blouse from Equipment hidden underneath a blazer.  I can’t remember why I would hang this blouse underneath a blazer.  So it’s been sitting there for at least a year and I remember snagging this blouse for $25 (with tag attached ) at a thrift store in Pasadena.

The floral pattern and jewel tones were perfect for fall.  Although it’s been really hot in LA this blouse was light enough to keep me cool for movie night with my family.  Given the classic cut of the blouse I know it will be in heavy rotation not just this fall but for many seasons to come.
