Welcome to the School Drop Off Attire series where each week I share what my “usual” school drop off attire looks like. I don’t have a lot of time every day so the quicker I can get ready the better. At the same time I don’t want to look like I literally rolled out of bed. I always keep the three Cs (casual, classy and Chic) in mind whenever I get dressed in the morning to drop the twins off to school.
When in doubt, throw on black and go like I did here. I wore this outfit a couple days ago when the temps actually dipped. The black cashmere sweater is quite old and a bit loose due to wear and tear, but thanks to the skinny distressed denim it balanced out the look. The moto boots that I scored from a major sale last year added some edge to the outfit. The pink crossbody bag added some accent to an all black ensemble. A black outfit like this is easy to put together first thing in the morning especially when you’re in warp speed mode.
