Hope you had a great weekend.

As you read this I’m starting a new job and hit the ground running.  After 12 years of working from home (and loving every minute of it) I’m heading back to the office environment. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.  My twins are in pre-k and they are more independent than before.  Although they still need my attention the 24/7 hand holding no longer needed.

I’ve been fortunate to be able to work from home all these years and never missed any of my twins’ milestones.

As much as I love working from home I had been craving and yearning to head back to the office to interact and collaborate in person with colleagues and teammates.  I’m so excited for this new endeavor because I get to work with and learn from the best of the best.  I also get to work with my former colleague again.  We became friends almost 20 years ago (since birth, haha!) and I wouldn’t have known about this job if it weren’t for him.  I’m so grateful for his unconditional support and relentless help.

With that said I will be sharing more of my working girl’s outfits (affordable & stylish) like this one given my new work environment is business conservative.  For my first day at work I paired the Cooper sweater from Elizabeth & Clarke’s winter collection with burgundy slacks, and finished the look with a pair of black suede pumps.

I’m really excited to share this new venture with you and can’t wait to offer glimpses of my office outfits with a twist of mama’s style.

Outfit Details:

The Cooper Sweater – c/o Elizabeth & Clarke
Oasis Crepe Slacks
JCrew Elsie Suede Pumps
Burberry Sunnies
Bottega Veneta Bag (old, similar style)
