Products Spotlight: Dr. Brandt

I love discovering new products, especially when it comes to skincare.  As we all know, not every product is created equal.  When I learned about dr. brandt® skincare over a month ago I was very eager to try and test their products.  They have products for different skin type and for my have dry sensitive skin I tested these 4.  Here’s my take after the first few weeks of using them.

Nº 1  Needles No More 3-D Filler ($95) 

The Claim:

This exclusive doctor designed formula gives you the appearance of younger looking skin with hyaluronic acid, peptides and Adipofill’in™ Complex. A little bit goes a long way to visually plump, fill and reshape facial contours. Don’t let gravity be your destiny.

My Take:

I was hooked after the first application.  The first thing I do every morning is to wash my face and apply this leave-on mask, leave it on from 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then followed by my usual skincare routine.  This is a must have for every woman.  It tightens your face for the entire day and you feel like you just had a mini face lift without a knife.

Nº 2  DNA with Dr. Brandt Transforming Pearl Serum ($152) 

The Claim:

Formulated with Dr. Brandt’s exclusive Juvenessence+ Complex encapsulated in state of the art DuoPearl technology, the result of five years of research and six patents. Produced one by one, the pearls are like mini laboratories: combining lipo+hydrophases for maximum ingredient efficacy and preservation, they unlock the ultimate age-defying power of Juvenessence+ Complex to reverse the signs of aging.  This serum fuels your skin daily with vital energy and helps restore the loss of vitality, the look of firmness, roughness & wrinkles.

My Take:

This serum really tightens my face, especially when combined with the Needles No More 3-D Filler face mask.  The pearlized liquid feels velvety and soft and my skin feels so soft and plump after.

Nº 3  Pores No More Pore Refiner Primer ($45)

The Claim:

A cult favorite, pores no more pore refiner primer is Dr. Brandt’s quick fix for flawless, photo-ready skin. It is the miracle base to create the perfect skin canvas for long-lasting makeup and well-preserved skin. This velvety formula absorbs excess oil, minimizes the look of pores, blurs fine lines and is resistant to sweat and humidity. Prime, touch-up and treat while perfecting your makeup.

My Take:

Hands down, this is one of the best primers I have tried so far.  It really does minimize the appearance of pores while blurring fine lines.  I now can ditch my other primer, which I pay 30% more.

Nº4  DNA with Dr. Brandt Time Reversing Cream ($132)

The Claim:

Formulated with Dr. Brandt’s Juvenescence+ Complex, the cream helps restore the look go sagging skin. Developed with hydrating Babassu Oil to provide the ultimate sensorial experience and delivered in an exclusive lamellar formula, the cream melts at skin temperature to deeply moisturize while delivering the power of Juvenescence + Complex. A joyous and energetic blend of essential oils creates a therapeutic aromatherapy effect.  This cream revitalizes and dramatically reduces the looking of aging skin while helps to promote smooth, supple and youthful looking skin.

My Take:

For my night routine, I apply this after the coconut oil application.  I wake up with soft hydrated velvety skin in the morning.

Overall, these Dr. Brandt products exceeded my expectations.  I did not expect much from this brand because I thought it was just another skincare line.  They proved me wrong, and I’m glad I took a chance to test these.  All four of these will definitely be on my restocking list going forward.
