Happy Monday!  Hope your weekend was treating you well.  Mine was fast and furious – a baby shower, a couple birthday parties, a baseball game, and a T-Ball year-end celebration party.

June is around the corner and with it a beautiful opportunity to observe all of the beauty that surrounds us rather than worry about what is to come.  As we all know it, summer is the wedding hitter season.  It can get overwhelming when it comes to deciding what to wear to a bridal shower both for the bride-to-be and the guest, not to mention a potential hole in your wallet.

Before I dive into the subject of what to wear to a bridal shower, let me be very clear – never ever wear white if you’re not the bride-to-be!  I don’t need to tell you why.  It’s her moment to shine and we need to respect that.

For a bridal shower, my advice to both the bride-to-be and the guest is to wear something light, airy and feminine in classic silhouettes.  If you’re the bride-to-be then wear something in white or pastels in lace or chiffon.  If you’re the guest then wear something in pretty pastels in any texture.

This lace dress in blush is my top pick for a bridal shower – feminine and on-trend.  Here are some of my favorite bridal shower dresses under $130 that look stylish and won’t put a hole in your wallet…
