Last week I shared what to wear for a tropical getaway. This week, I’m sharing what to wear on date night.
Date night. Sounds so cliche. Most people in the dating world get to experience date night every single date. I was one of those people until our two little bundles of joy arrived. For the first two years, our date nights were of breastfeeding, burping, diaper changing, driving late at night around our neighborhood so our babies would fall asleep.
Sadly, our date nights went from weekly (while dating and married) to monthly (while pregnant) and then whenever…
It wasn’t until we moved closer to our family that we were able to steal a date night here and there. Obviously, date nights are critical because relationships are work and they need to be nurtured. It’s about carving out the time to be just focused on and to rediscover each other. We are so fortunate that our family lives nearby to provide babysitting that would allow us to have time to ourselves here and there.
For me, getting ready for date nights is the most exciting part of the evening. I get to get all dolled up and to be wined and dined. I’m a girlie girl so I love wearing dresses and heels because they make me feel sexy and feminine.
As mentioned in the previous post, my hope is that through this series you can locate the outfits easier, faster, and cheaper while looking stylish and polished.
