FALL OUTFIT #4

Last week I shared what you should wear to a concert.  Since I received numerous inquiries about what I wore to apple picking from my last post I thought I should share that with you this week.

A couple weeks ago I decided to take the twins to apple picking in Oak Glen, located about two hours away from home.   Since we have never done apple picking before I thought the twins would enjoy it since they love apples a lot.  And also to start a new family tradition of apple picking every fall now that they are much older.  Long story short they can’t wait to go back again next year.

I had no intention of doing an outfit photoshoot while picking apples at the apple farm so only a handful of pictures was snapped by my sister.  I couldn’t locate one picture that would show my shoes.  The only pic that had a hint of the biker boots I wore was the one with one of my twins who was goofing around.

I chose to wear denim from head to toe for the occasion because I knew the apple farm would be dusty, rough, and uneven.  I didn’t have to worry about my clothes getting dirty or torn while having fun.   And that’s how it should be when picking apples or any fruit for that matter.

STYLING TIPS

Keep in mind that when you are going to an apple farm be prepared to get your clothes dusty and dirty.  So choose clothing that is indestructible like denim.  I think a flannel shirt with denim is a nice option too.

Here are some rugged but stylish options for apple picking that won’t break your bank!
