I have a confession to make. I am OBSESSED with black and white stripes! My closet is full of black and white stripe shirts, blazers and dresses. They are my closet staples and they are my “throw on and go” pieces for work and weekends. Stripes can be dressed up by pairing with a statement necklace and pumps or dressed down with a pair of sandals or ballet flats. I also love traveling with them because they are so versatile to style.
I try not to buy too many items that I already have in my closet but when I spotted this stripe dress in H&M a few months ago hanging on the skirts rack it immediately caught my eye. I love the texture of this dress. The fabric has a little stiffness to it but it allows the skirt area to stay poofed. Given it was marked down to $24.99 I knew I had to take this dress home with me. I also received an additional 10% off because the back button was missing! What can I say…I’m a sucker for stripes!!! I’m eyeing on a stripe maxi dress and a stripe skirt as I type this LOL!
