Jumpsuits are sexy, comfy, effortlessly chic and easy to wear. A true one-step-dressing chic closet staple. I have always loved them but haven’t been able to locate the right one to invest for my petite frame plus the style selections were quite limited and unappealing until now. In case you haven’t noticed everyone is literally jumping (no pun intended) on this chic closet staple bandwagon. And I’m no exception. Because it is the hottest trend right now, every single retailer is carrying them. This makes it very difficult and overwhelming to shop for a jumpsuit. Make sure to look for jumpsuits that cinch at the waist or sit a little below the hip since this should be a closet staple one must need to invest.
When it comes to investing in clothing I tend to gravitate toward neutral colors. This black jumpsuit is the perfect example. It is black and the shape is flattering. A versatile piece that can go with anything in my closet. I can throw on a blazer and some pointed toe heels for office appropriate look. Or add some statement jewelry like these gorgeous Lele Sadoughi earrings from Halsbrook to dress up the look for cocktail/dinner. Ok, let’s get back to this jumpsuit for a moment. I’ve been living in this adult onesie for the past couple weeks. All I know is that this jumpsuit is now my definite go-to gem in my closet, not to mention a classic staple piece that can effortlessly transition from day to night and from season to season.
