This week I’m sharing my secret weapon in covering my grey hair…Mascara! It’s also hubby’s secret weapon to cover his grey for last minute auditions. A lot people use mascara for their eyelashes but what what a lot of people don’t know is that mascara can also be used to cover roots or even to create highlights. My hair grows extremely fast and that comes with the grays. I have about 50% of gray hair which is a curse and a blessing! Instead of dyeing my hair every 2 weeks (it’s costly and can also be very damaging to my hair) I have an extra waterproof mascara in brownish black dedicated to cover my grays. I only color the areas that are visible. So next time if you didn’t have time to color your hair and you’re out of town, don’t panic..mascara will come to the rescue. How do you remove it from your roots before you go get your color??
Shampoo can easily remove the mascara!
How do you get the mascara out. when you go to color your hair??
The mascara comes off when I shampoo my hair.

I am a male who has some white eyelashes and am becoming vain about them. Is there something I can use to tint them to perhaps avoid mascara?
You may want to check with some of the reputable beauty salons to see if they offer eyelash dyes. I think the safest method is to use mascara. Hope this helps.
