Happy Labor Day everyone!

I can’t seem to get enough of wearing white lately, especially white dresses.  This is another dress that I snagged from the Gap’s clearance rack weeks ago!  I think you can wear white year round.  I can see my self wearing this dress again with a blazer or crop jacket for fall, my favorite time of the year.

The weather may begin to shift along in certain parts of the states or even countries, but not here on the west coast.  It’s been hot hot hot and this dress has been a savior….several times.  As the summer days slowly pass by I have to remind myself to take time off and just to enjoy and savor any time and moments I spend with my kids and hubby before I head out for an upcoming trip in a few days.

This was the case over the weekend.  In preparation for my upcoming trip to New York I stopped doing a lot of the routine stuff and simply spent time with them doing nothing but lounging around at the pool and eating out. Simply put, it was our “play” time…well, maybe mostly me.  I learned that allowing ourselves regular play time can relax us and thus helps us regain our equilibrium so that it can bring us back to who we truly are inherently.  I hope you can do the same for this coming weekend and many more.
