It’s been a crazy couple weeks since returning from our Toronto trip. A week ago, we started our home renovation project by working on the flooring for the dining room and the kitchen first. The rest we had to delay due to an unexpected incident. The week before the project scheduled date my contractor called and told me that he was recuperating from his leg surgery (yikes!). He said he could start a week later but I told him that health is more important and that we can delay the project for a couple more weeks until he gets better.
During the flooring renovation we couldn’t really use the kitchen so we had to heat our food in the microwave and eat out of paper plates. We also had to eat out for a couple nights just to get out of the house. One of those nights we decided to have Indian food, and thanks to this pastel pink coat it kept me warm the entire night. I’ve been busting out this coat whenever there’s a slight breeze of chills in the air because I just love wearing it! It’s light and versatile and one of my favorite ways of wearing this coat is by adding the belt to give the coat a bit of a personality. As much as I love this coat I won’t be able to bring it with me to Boston for my business trip because I accidentally smeared the butter chicken sauce on it!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed hoping my trip will not get delayed in Boston due to the winter storm because I can’t wait to get back to get our home renovation re-started. I guess I will find out first thing on Monday to see if I can even get there first! So crazy…

You look amazing! I love that you belted the coat. I sometimes have trouble with double breasted coats because they make me look like I have no waist! And this completely solves that problem. The pink heels are a perfect touch, too!
