Bootiful DUO Boots!

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope your weekend was treating you well.

So I didn’t make my flight to Boston last week due to Winter Storm Linus.  When all said and done I was at the airport for over 8 hours with only a Chai Latte & Chocolate Croissant in my tummy.  Needless to say I WAS HUNGRY, EMOTIONALLY EXHAUSTED, TIRED and SLEEPY (I tend to work late the night before whenever I travel so that I can sleep on the plane!).  That night I ate like a horse and slept like a baby at home.

The next night, G decided to go on a family date night to celebrate our belated 5th Anniversary (last month) and Valentine’s Day (he will be working that weekend).  I think he was also happy not to see me leave :).  We went to see Paddington after dinner; BIG Hero 6 is still our favorite!  I wore this outfit with these Edra boots from DUO boots.  Let me just say how AMAZING they were!  The leather felt like butter and the fit around my calf was perfect!  They were so comfortable that I didn’t want to take them off before bed!!!

If you have not heard of DUO Boots then you must check them out because they do boots tailoring..yes, that’s right they do.  All you need to do is select your calf size (their website shows you how to measure correctly) and your shoe size.  They also have the fastest shipping ever.  It took less than 3 days to get these boots from the UK to the States whereas Bloomingdale’s took almost 11 days for a 2 day shipping for my denim.  Really!

Not getting on that plane turned out to be better than expected. I was able to spend more time with my husband and our kids.  Sometimes storms can be a positive thing depending on your situation.

    Sounds like an amazing pair of boots! I hate it when the boots get too tight around the ankle. Maybe it is not too late to wish you Happy Anniversary 🙂

      Thank you Mrs. C! Hubby & I were so caught up with our home renovation and travel plans that we both forgot to celebrate. We laughed about it and celebrated much later 🙂

      Thank you Glenda. I’m very short so just like you I’m terrified wearing them but these hit just above my knees so I’m very happy 🙂

    Beautiful, and snazzy, and customized! Just like you! Seriously … not to much to ask that if one shells out for a leg length of buttery leather boots, they should fit perfectly. Great service. So sorry about the storm … it’s been mild here, and we are feeling we just might get away without a big storm this winter! (Fingers, toes, eyes crossed and knocking on wood!)
