What a sad weekend!  There was a massive 7.9 earthquake in Nepal that killed thousands and many more are still missing.  Thoughts & prayers be with those who were affected by this massive earthquake.

Now onto today’s post…

Capsule 12-2Welcome to week 11 of my Spring Capsule Collection outfit remix series.  This week I’m sharing the outfit I wore last week for a girls night out with my sister and friends.  We were invited to a private club called California Club in DTLA for dinner.  The last time I was there was over 12 years ago for a bridal shower.  This club has a dress code and it’s quite restricted, seriously.  Denim and athletic shoes are not allowed at all times for any gender.  For ladies, a range of casual clothing consistent with customary good taste is preferred.

Since the temperature took a nose dive last week I wanted to wear this jumpsuit to pair with these sandals and this blazer, but there was a patch of grease stain near the armpit area.  Not sure how it got there because it hasn’t been worn.  I had to make a last-minute outfit change due to time constraints and chose this dress, which was purchased over a year ago during a major sale event at Club Monaco.  Although the look ended up a bit dressy, but it was business casual enough that they didn’t kick me out 🙂
