Welcome to OOTW (Outfit of the Week) series. Each week I feature my favorite outfit of the week on the blog. The pieces range from a mixture of vintage to thrifted to trendy to classic pieces to low end and to high end. The goal is to construct a look that is effortless and won’t put a dent in your pocket.
This week the feature outfit is inspired by Farrah Fawcett, one of the sexiest Charlie’s Angels stars in the 70s. Although it was her famous hairstyle that brought her recognition, it was her high-waisted denim flares that made her the 70s most famous sex icon.
This pair of high-waisted vintage inspired jeans is perfect to pull off this look. I paired these jeans with a sleeveless plaid button down shirt. This outfit withstood extreme heat (3 digits) when I wore them to dinner with G over the weekend. I felt like Farrah Fawcett all night and that’s all I needed to feel sexy.
