Welcome to the School Drop Off Attire series where each week I share what my “usual” school drop off attire looks like. I don’t have a lot of time every day so the quicker I can get ready the better. At the same time I don’t want to look like I literally rolled out of bed. I always keep the three Cs (casual, classy and Chic) in mind whenever I get dressed in the morning to drop the twins off to school.

The weather started to get chilly earlier this week and yes, I think fall is officially here in LA!   I love fall and have been fantasizing about wearing sweaters, jackets, blazers, coats and boots.  A few days ago I wore this outfit to pick up the boys (hubby dropped them off that day) from school.  I busted out my 5 yr old grey denim and paired it with one of my favorite sweaters.  I finished the look with the leather lace up ballet flats I recently bought.  They are super super comfy.  If you want to invest in a pair make sure you find the right fit.  Topshop has the best price (<$100) but they didn’t fit my wide feet properly.  I saw a similar pair at Stuart Weitzman but it was above my budget so I finally settled on a pair from Loeffler Randall – these fit my feet comfortably!  I now wear them wherever I go – so versatile and chic!

Are you looking for a pair too?  I located some similar pairs that are chic and affordable…

P.S.  I’ve been chosen as the best fashionistas of the month from Star Central Magazine.  It would mean the world to me if you could vote for me to be their Fashionista of the Month – November 2015 here.  Thank you!

  1. YAY!!! I love chic, functional and transitional drop-off outfits. I am always running errands, in and out of meetings, sourcing for posts immediately following drop off and love the pulled-together look this style provides. Well done!
