Keep Your Friends Close, But Your Girlfriend Jeans Closer

I have an amazing tribe of girlfriends in my life. Some have been in my life since childhood while others I have recently met. They are all uniquely different but share the same traits when it comes to friendship.

My girlfriends are always there for me when I need them most. I can count on them for giving me an honest opinion solicited or unsolicited. They listen and respect my space and emotional energy and can often have a meaningful conversation on a deeper level. But most of all, every single one of them is genuinely happy for me when I have great news to share.

Having a great pair of jeans is like having a great girlfriend. I have quite a few in my closet because they are comfy, super stylish, sexy, and cool. In essence, they bring out the best in you. So when you find a pair of girlfriend jeans that fits you never let it go.

My latest Girlfriend Jeans favorite is the ‘So Slimming Girlfriend Destructed Crop Jeans’ from Chico’s. They are not only more flattering but infinitely feminine with a punk rock feel. In other words, they look pretty badass just like my girlfriends. And no they are not difficult to style regardless of age.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to style my Girlfriend Jeans to keep her looking amazing and fabulous.

Glamour Look – I love adding a sparkly top and stiletto heels for some serious glamour. Or, add an embroidered top and colorful heels like these photos here for a simple look that still stands out.

French Chic – A simple classic striped tee for the classic combo look. If you want the boho-chic look, just pair it with a long tunic and a hat.

Professional – We have business casual at work once a week and I couldn’t wait to add heels and a blazer for a more professional vibe.

Casual Event – This is probably my most go-to look on the weekends right now. I love wearing my sneakers and a t-shirt for my kids’ baseball practice and games. If you are not a fan of converse but want that perfect casual look, simply pair it with sandals and a flowy kimono top.
