Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was treating you well. Mine was fast and furious. In 48 hours, hubby and I threw a birthday party for our twins, cooked dinner for my siblings, attended a film preview for date night, and went to see the Dodger vs. Phillies game.
I’m really excited today to share a very special jewelry giveaway. You know how much I love jewelry, especially when they are uniquely handcrafted by artisans. To be honest with you, that’s quite rare nowadays. I recently discovered Michal Golan Jewelry. Before I tell you how much I adore this Aurora Necklace from one of her collections, I want to tell you a little bit about Michal, the talented designer behind these amazing jewelry available at www.michalgolan.com.
Michal Golan is an Israeli born, New York City-based, painter, printer, and jewelry designer. In her New York studio, Michal creates handcrafted jewelry pieces which combine the look of the antique with a contemporary fashion sensibility. Her unusual style and technique and meticulous attention to detail distinguish these ornately jeweled designs.
Michal’s designs are inspired by Byzantine and victorian jewelry with its generous use of gemstones and pearls. Another source of inspiration is Middle Easter art, particularly Mosaic styles, apparent in her lavish decoration of surfaces and use of brilliant colors.
When I saw the Aurora Circle Necklace I was immediately drawn to it. I loved the quirky look of this polka-dot pendant enhanced with a fun swirl patterned gold chain. The necklace is more stunning in person than in pictures. It is made of brass electroplated 24k gold with glass cabochons and Swarovski crystals. Just gorgeous!
I’ve been wearing this necklace non-stop for the past couple weeks since it first arrived. Although I loved it with this dress I wore in these pictures, I think my favorite outfit would have to be with a plain white t-shirt and white distressed denim.
Want to win this exact necklace? You must be over 18 and a U.S. resident. Well, you know the drill!
