Today, I’m really excited to share a new series called WHAT to WEAR WHERE, a style guide to seasonal dressing for every occasion. Each season, I share my 10 favorite outfits for 10 occasions on an affordable budget.
My inbox has been flooded with questions from readers (you) regarding what to wear to certain occasions without breaking their bank. So I thought the best way to help is to dedicate a series that would focus on what to wear and how to wear it for a certain venue. My hope is that through this series you can locate the outfits easier, faster, and cheaper while looking stylish and polished.
What better ways to start off this series than the first week of summer?! As we all know, summer is all about the outdoor activities from weddings to backyard barbecues.
Hubby and I recently received an invite from our friend and his partner to attend an intimate dinner party at their home. I love getting together and catching up with my friends.
For a fun summer evening, I prefer to wear a floral dress and simple accessories. This floral wrap dress fits the bill – so feminine and playful. And the price tag of $110 isn’t too shabby either.
STYLING TIPS
You want to look polished and effortless. Since the evening will involve lots of chit chatting stay clear with necklines that are too low. You want your friends’ eyes on you, not your neckline!
