FALL OUTFIT #5

Last week I shared what to wear to apple picking.  This week, I’m sharing what to wear to Thanksgiving dinner.thanksgiving

thanksgivingthanksgivingthanksgiving thanksgivingSo, it’s already November and Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away.   I love Thanksgiving because I love getting together with family and mingle with friends.  I also love the guilt-free eating part too!

Thanksgiving dinner is traditionally held at my sister and brother-in-law’s home.  And it seems like the dinner party gets bigger year after year.  My mother-in-law is back again for Thanksgiving.   This year, we have two babies joining us – my baby nephew and my friend’s baby girl 🙂

And each year, I try my best to look my best.  Although I’m responsible for bringing a ham, why not get all dolled up since I don’t have to cook and slave in the kitchen.

STYLING TIPS

Expect to allow some wiggle rooms for stuffing and turkey so leverage dresses with elastic or empire waistbands.  I think you can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable from jeans to even sweatpants…okay, maybe just jeans.   One of the trends for fall that I’m obsessed with is velvet.  And I think this warm and rich material is perfect to wear to Thanksgiving dinner.

Here are some stylish velvet dresses that will keep you looking chic and warm and won’t break your bank!
