Disclosure: I was asked by Carusele to participate in the #WalgreensBeautyUnfiltered campaign, sponsored by  Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.

We live in a social environment where we frequently use retail price as an indicator of product quality because higher-priced products are believed to possess higher-quality than lower-priced products.

If you are following me then you know I have a different perception when it comes to buying lower-priced products from clothing to beauty supplies.  I frequently shop for products that are affordable but possess high quality.

Places like Walgreens is a great example.

Walgreens is my second home and I frequently shop there to stock up on snacks, vitamins, and beauty supplies.

In case you have not visited Walgreens lately, you may want to stop by, especially their beauty aisle.  They recently relaunched their beauty brand called Walgreens beauty, formerly known as Studio 35, that offers makeup tools, bath and body, and skin care options.

Walgreens beauty has a huge assortment of trusted, high-quality essentials at an everyday value. They have taken a consumer-led approach and revamped their products from the inside out, focusing on ingredients and stronger claims.

This year is full of gratitude for me. In the beginning of the year I said I would spend more time with my family and friends (already met up with a few friends and also held a couple parties), and to also practice more yoga (tried but still waiting for my vertigo to clear) in addition to eating well (still in full swing).  This is also the year that I will treat myself, as we all should, with a bit of indulgence from looking after my physical self as a way to help my mental health while embracing my imperfect beauty.

As a busy mom, I do my best to eat healthily, take supplements, and exercise on a regular basis to care of myself.  By doing so this keeps me centered and balanced to live a joyous life.  These are the beauty hacks that I always live by.

I may look like I have the perfect hair, skin, and nails but I rely on self-care and products to look and feel my best.  I treat my hair with a hair mask to keep it from split ends and breakage.  I eat healthily and use the right products to keep my skin looking healthy and supple.  My nails grow stronger because of these supplements.

Thanks to places like Walgreens, my beloved cornerstone of my beauty buys, I’ve been able to keep these beauty supplies in stock without costing a fortune.

Just a couple weeks ago while stopping by to pick up eyeliner I spotted some Walgreens beauty makeup brushes and skin care items. They came home with me too.

I am especially impressed with the Walgreens makeup brushes because they are soft and durable. The one that I lust after the most is the kabuki brush. This one is the perfect foundation blender and it comes with a cover, which is great to travel with.

The Walgreens Exfoliating Facial Cleanser, Facial Moisturizer, Facial Mist, and Body Lotion turned out to be better than expected, especially the facial cleanser and the moisturizer. The cleanser cleanses my face without stripping my skin while the moisturizer maximizes my skin’s hydration and supple appearance thanks to its hyaluronic acid ingredient. I’ve been slathering the body lotion after a bath/shower too and it works wonder for my skin because the formula is lightweight and soaks in quickly.

Walgreens beauty is no doubt affordable but made with quality.  Time and time again Walgreens has taught me that quality isn’t always based on price tag.

You won’t be disappointed. Make sure to remember to sign up with their Beauty Enthusiast Rewards…my husband uses it all the time. You get points and those points get converted to $ to use for your purchases.
