Happy Thursday everyone!  Welcome to the Date Night Style series.  Each week I select an item from my closet and style it for that special day or night.  This item can be old or new, trendy or classic. Either way the goal is to transform the piece to a date night or day date look.

This week I selected the leopard print blazer from Zara.   It’s no secret that I love leopard print and when I spotted this blazer at Fashion Project last year for a steep discount it was a match made in heaven.  I already have a number of blazers in my closet but most of them are either in black, white or navy.  I love wearing this blazer for date night or just out with the boys because it is dirt proof!  I’m not afraid of my kids smearing food on this blazer because it hides dirt quite well.  Besides, you can easily throw this in the washer and the machine will do it’s work for you.

As much as I love this blazer I’m swooning over my shoes.  They are very pricey and I have been eyeing them since they came out.  I was really excited when they were on sale a few months ago.  It was at 50% off initially then I pounced on it when it was marked down to 75%.  I think I sent out the sales alert on facebook and twitter.  These shoes are now sold out but there are many similar versions available from ASOS to Steve Madden because the leopard print is making a roaring come back.  In my opinion, leopard print is the new classic because it will never go out of style and does not age discriminate.  You are never too young or too old to wear such print!

  1. Such a fun date night look! That blazer is incredible, and I love the small red bag for going out– I always manage to set my clutch down somewhere and forget it. Whoops!

PS- I’d love for you to stop by on Thursdays to link up!

  2. Hello Janise!

I really like how the two different animal prints look together. The red bag adds just the right amount of color and goes so well with everything else. Thanks for sharing! Blessings to you and your family!
