FALL OUTFIT #9
Last week I shared what to wear work. This week, I’m sharing one of the venues that I have been attending at least once a month – playdate!
My 6 year-old twin boys are in first grade. So, naturally they made a lot of friends not just in grade one but also years prior. I met their friends’ moms and we have had a few playdates since October.
Playdates are social events for both kids and adults, and are usually held at someone’s home or at a park. Overall, it’s a casual setting so make sure you are dressed comfortably. I usually show up wearing denim paired with a cozy sweater to keep myself warm and comfortable. Sometimes, I switch out my denim with leather pants, depending on how I feel that day.
STYLING TIPS
Don’t get stressed over what you should wear for a playdate. Although there are no dress codes but wearing a dress can feel a bit formal for such a casual setting. I would stay away from wearing dresses because you will most like chase after your kids and/or their friends. Mobility is important here so choose wisely.
